Find of the Day: 2010 Audi A6 Avant

words: Bill, photos: Addison Rickaby

2021 saw the return of the A6 Avant in allroad form and also the arrival of the RS 6 Avant. That was a great year when there were 3 Avant models to choose from. Back in 2010, there were also 3 Avant models: A4 Avant, A3 hatchback (which to some is not an Avant but for the purpose of this post, it will count), and the A6 Avant. This example of one of those A6 Avants. Here’s the ad:

Up for sale is my 2010 Audi A6 Avant 3.0T Quattro with very low ~108,000kms. Mature enthusiast owned. This is a very rare car; my research and estimation is that there is less than 2000 of these cars in the Wagon (Avant) form with the 3.0T engine in North America. (Same Supercharged 3.0L V6 engine in the S4’s). The color combo is also very rare; Night Blue Pearl exterior and Amaretto/black two tone interior. Car has the Sport Package with lower (1”) suspension from factory which looks amazing with the 19” summer wheels/tires. It is fully loaded with Navigation, heated seats (front & rear), power & heated mirrors, power/memory seats, and a Bose premium sound system with an Invery Bluetooth module for music streaming through the factory system. It also has WeatherTech floormats throughout and Audi rear cargo mat, cargo dog barrier, and Audi factory aluminum crossbars that clip into the roof rails. Two sets of wheels are included; winters are 18” factory wheels with almost new Blizzak tires. Summer are pictured with very good Continental Sport tires (approx 75% tread).
This car has been well loved and well maintained. Audi serviced for 85% of its life and then to European specialist shops or myself performing the maintenance. I have a full spreadsheet with all maintenance and paper copies of 90% of the servicing done to the car which I can send over to interested parties. Windshield is crack free and there is no visible rust anywhere on the car. Undercarriage is also very very clean. The major (and expensive) maintenance items on this very reliable 3.0T engine have already been done (thermostat and waterpump). Car has recently been polished and detailed for summer as well.
Recent maintenance:
– Front Zimmerman drilled rotors and Brembo ceramic pads (less than 250kms ago)
– Rear Zimmerman rotors and Akebono ceramic pads (less than 250kms ago)
– Upper/Lower radiator hoses
– Waterpump
– Thermostat
– Supercharger belt
– various coolant hoses
– Brake fluid
– Washer fluid system replacement
– Engine & cabin air filters
– Regular oil changes using VW/Audi approved oils (car is now on Liquimoly 5w40 full synthetic)
I am sure I am missing something but more detail can be found in the spread sheet should you need to see it. This car is an absolute dream on the highway – it’s fast, comfortable, and has tons of family utility. Could be an ultimate sleeper with a JHM or equivalent tune. (These cars can easily and reliably get to 450hp with supporting mods).
Sad to see it go as I looked for over 3 years to find one for myself. I have 3 other project vehicles and I find myself not driving this as much as it deserves and also not wanting my kids to beat up such a nice/rare car, so I am trying to move into something else.
I am not interested in any help selling the car, tire kickers, or scammers. If you don’t like my price, and want a car priced at market conditions from 15 years ago, please move onto another ad. I am an honest, respectful, flexible, mature seller who is willing to help with the process in anyway I can. I will grab any images or videos that you might need that are not in the image gallery. I am open to vehicle inspections (at your cost) and I am willing to chat with out of country and out of province buyers. I have worked in or around the automotive industry most of my life and have bought/sold dozens of vehicles with a flawless transaction record of honesty and integrity. (Can provide references) I expect the same from potential buyers – please do not waste my time if you cannot afford the car.
$26k CAD – negotiable. Would love to see it go to a good, enthusiast owner who will appreciate the car. Thanks for looking and please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Sure it’s not an S6 or at that time, a highly lusted after model but this is an honest-to goodness Avant before the allroad Age and the last A6 Avant before the 2022 models. It has one of the best engines Audi ever made in the 3.0T V6 and that interior is to die for. Seller claims there were less than 2,000 of these imported. You can find this 108,000km (67,108 miles) Avant on our Audi Club North America – Classifieds Facebook group for $26,000 CAD ($20,122 USD) HERE.
