Common Name The Winged Macropodanthus [refers to the side lobes of the lip]

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in the Andaman Islands, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam in broad-leaved, evergreen lowland forests at elevations of 300 to 1350 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with fleshy, bilobed with acute convergent point leaves that blooms in the fall on a pendulous, to 14" [to 35 cm] long, to 25 flowered inflorescence with the fragrant flowers facing all directions.
