Common Name Loher's Bulbophyllum [German Orchid Collector in the Philippines 1900's]

Flower Size 1/5" [5mm]

Found in the Philippines at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ovoid, 4 angled pseudobulbs enveloped by ovate, equally long sheaths and carrying a single, apical, leathery, basally conduplicate and shortly petiolate, apically slightly bilobed leaf that blooms in the fall on an upright, slender, red, curved, 4" [10 cm] long, many flowered, racemose inflorescence with minute, triangular, acuminate floral bracts and holding the up to 13 flowers in an umbel at the apex.
