Common Name or Meaning The Creek-Loving Catasetum

Flower Size 1.75" [4.8 cm]

Found in sothern Venezuela and Amazonas state of Brazil in wet forests at elevations of 100 to 200 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with fusiform, slightly curved pseudobulbs carrying 6, linear-oblanceolate, very dark green, plicate, 3 nerved leaves that blooms in the fall on an arching then pendant, 8.6" [21.5 cm] long, to 16 flowered inflorescence carrying resupinate flowers
