Default Phalaenopsis amboinensis

I thought some of you would like to see my most recent species Phal. to bloom for me. I got this plant as a seedling in spring of 2008, and this is the first bloom.

WOW! Such a great flower! Thanks for including a picture of the whole plant, as I love to see what the actual plant looks like, and it is a great help to those who have the same plant so that they can compare them. Seeing the size of yours, mine has a ways to go before it blooms.

Cody, I just recently repotted it into the 4" pot its in now, if that gives you a better idea on its size.

Gorgeous! Love the striping.

For some reason I associated the name amboinensis with a pure white phal. Maybe I'm confusing it with something else.

Anyway, moved this to the species area for you.
