Blc. Sanyung Ruby 'Kuang Lung'
I purchased two of these back in the fall, and they are breathtaking when they bloom....the blooms on these babies are HUGE!!!  The funny thing is, that they look different from the picture they were supposed to be....doesn't really matter to me, as they are so fabby looking...
In the photos they are more red, but in real life they are burgandy in colour....the first 3 photos are mine, the 4th is the stock photo when I ordered it... |

Thanks! I purchased one back in September, ordering online from Cloud's and then I went for my first nursery visit to Cloud's in October and after seeing one in bloom, purchased another one - they are that beautiful!! |

hehehe, yeah, like a punch on the nose!!  that's why I got two of them!! When I was at the nursery, I met lots of lovely chid enthusiasts, who were very eager to reassure me that I should purchase as many as I want, even doubles (I had expressed concern that maybe I shouldn't get another one of these chids) I remember laughing at what this one lovely lady said who waited until her hubby was out of earshot and said to me: "sweetheart, these guys won't even notice they are the same plant, or you can stick both pots into a larger planter, and tell them it's only 1 plant!" I thought that was really funny, and went ahead and bought the second one....  When they bloomed, I was so glad I did!! |
